Just spent a small fortune on some new wheels and lowering springs for my car, it’s now 35mm lower on Pi Lowering Springs. Here are some quick pics of the new kit, but I will take some proper ones when I eventually get around to cleaning the car!

Plans
I’ve spent the last few months being skint as hell paying off credit card debts, but they are finally being cleared and I should be debt free (minus the car) after April. Now I have spent the last 3 – 5 months planning all the mods I want to do to the car over the next 2 years (sad I know). The most for-seeable (if that’s even a word LOL) are:

Window Tints – March 2009
Getting a good deal with R-Tec, about 7 or 8 of us from the Swift Owners Club are getting them done at the same time and getting a photoshoot with Performance Car Magazine I believe, but we are still trying to sort a date out for that

Alloys – May 2009
Now I’ve still not made my mine up about these, it will either be OZ SuperTurimso’s that I will get painted black with a red rim;

or the Wolfrace Pro-Sprints in black with a red rim;

Suspension – May 2009
I don’t want to go mega low as the roads here are fucking abysmal, but I don’t want the stiffness of lowering springs so I am going to go for coilovers. Personally, I’d never heard of the company MesiterR but they have registered with the Swift Club and made some coilovers to fit the Swift Sport, not too expensive when compared with other makes too. I’ll get these fitted the same time as the rims with an initial drop of about 45 – 50mm

Exhaust
There is a shop around the corner from me called Predator Motorsport, some of you may have heard of it, but they specialize in motorbike exhaust systems. I have enquired and my boss has had them make a custom back box, which I will also do and maybe a custom centre section as well.

Cosmetic changes
Want to go completely JDM/Track look with this, as I want it to be a track car in the years to come. This is the kit I’ve picked out so far:

Front Lip

Carbon Fiber Spoiler

Side Skirt

I also have some simple decals designed to make it stand out

Other changes
There are lots of other small things I want to do/change, like uprated brake pads, red brake calipers, front and rear strut braces, weight reduction, maybe a proper bucket seat but I can wait for that. In two years, I’m looking to turbo it as well

Not posted for a very long time, but I’ve been real busy with work and sorting various things out, but I am back and I will try to post everyday!

I think a bit of a catchup is in order. I have decided to sell my PC as well as a few other bits and bobs laying around in my room not being used and just gathering dust so that I can clear some debt and lift a large weight from my shoulders. If anyone is interested, here is the list of stuff I currently have on eBay. Once I get rid of all this and the debt, it will be time to get my car serviced for the first time and also get a renewal for my insurance, this is going to sting! Then hopefully in April/May I will start saving up to buy and build a new PC, this time with some pretty insane specs as well as a host of mods (which will all be a first, so I hope it goes well!).

Finally washed my car today, haven’t done that myself for a long time, and the car hasn’t seen clean paint since boxing day, so it was pretty damn dirty. The original plan was to save washing the car until I get my windows tinted, but as that keeps getting pushed back I finally gave in. Should be getting a date for the window tints this weekend (fingers crossed!) Also been playing Call of Duty 4 quite a bit lately on the ‘ol 360. Somehow, I’ve managed to get brilliant out of nowhere, by not playing it xD I’m now getting a positive KD ratio in every match, getting choppers all the time which is pretty awesome compared to the typical score of 5 kills and 12 deaths I used to get LOL.

Oh, one last thing, I’ve started to PhotoShop a car! First time in about 4 years, shocker I know, anyway, here is the progress so far, I have until the end of Feb to complete this for the Official DigiMods Competition.

This time in a different location and I shot these all in RAW format so that I could play with them more in Aperture 2. Shot with my dad’s new Canon EOS 50D.

Just had the car washed and polished so I decided to take some pics with dad’s new Canon EOS 50D (insane camera, weighs a ton and some of these images came out at 16mb!!)
